Maureen O’Sullivan-Day is a fully qualified and experienced Human Resources and Organisational Development Professional and has worked strategically and operationally within HR & OD for 38 years. Much of that time has been within the not-for-profit sector, where she has guided and supported organisations with their strategic aims, ensuring the working environment is one where people can thrive and grow, reflecting the organisation’s vision and values.

She is a qualified coach and passionate about employee, leadership, and management development.  Encouraging and empowering people to be the best that they can be. With her employee relations experience, professional qualifications, mediation accreditation, and pragmatic approach she has been able to help organisations understand and mitigate risk. Maureen has an honest, supportive, and common-sense approach, along with an excellent reputation for building and maintaining positive working relationships.

In addition to leading and managing effective HR teams, Maureen has designed and implemented people strategies. She has worked on numerous people projects and supported Executive and Senior Management Teams where she was seen as the ’go to’ person for guidance on redundancy, redeployment, restructuring, and workforce planning. For the last 14 years she has worked within Social Housing, where she had overall responsibility for recruitment; onboarding; performance management; employee relations; learning & development; talent management and succession planning; along with employee engagement and wellbeing.
